Yesterday Uncle Glenn, Aunt Lisa, Brooke and Ainsley (from Colorado) met up with us for the remainder of the week. We have been doing our typical camping activities – hanging out, playing, laughing, eating and drinking. The “over-40” crowd gets to sleep in Craig’s coach, which means Greg and I are in the rowdy kids’ trailer.
In the afternoon a few of us hiked to some nearby lakes. Every time the Tetons came into view, it took our breath away, and commanded a “wow” comment! Even though the campground is sold out, we are the only ones on the trail – enjoying the incredible, undisturbed scenery. We have seen no wild life at Colter Bay except for birds, squirrels, chipmunks and lots of ravenous mosquitoes.

It is funny to watch Jeremy, a typical middle-schooler, try to argue his one-sided view with six adults. He had tough competition with Aunt Lisa, a middle school teacher! “How do you know a middle-schooler is not telling the truth? If their mouth is moving.” Uncle Craig referred to it as “Jeremy’s world”.
This is much more a vacation pace for Greg (who has found a comfy reclining chair).
